ReplyDeleteOk how the characters in story relates to protein synthesis is that m-RNA goes to the nucleous and get the genes from DNA and puts them into codons and take them to the ribosome. Mr. DNA is DNA which gives the genes to m-RNA. T-RNA the charater is t-RNA which takes the codons from m-RNA and translate then to anticodons When they do they bring amino
acids and put them into polypeptide chain. R-RNA is r-RNA which goes and put many polypeptide chains and stars making protein, whn they do there part they send the protein to the roughER. And the enzymes are the enzymes that breakdown m-RNA.

Ok your guys story is good, but transcription is more then m-RNA picking up the genes there a proccess for doing it. also why would a cupcake recipe be in the park. But other then that it is a pretty good read.

It was the most amazing story that has every been written.
DALTON JORDAN IS DA MAN!!!!!
in my video of protein synthesis i left out that without protein synthesis life wouldnt be possible. you have to have protein synthesis to survive. - meleah

ReplyDeleteRevisions.
Life depends on protein synthesis because without protein, none of our body functions can be preformed, as these functions rely on enzymes, and these enzymes are made of protein.
Like enzymes that break down food, or help form ATP.

You have a great, simple, very to the point story. However, I saw some missing vocab, and not a lot of creativity, which is what I saw the assigement as. Also, the point (explaining protein synthesis) wasn't elaborated much.
Overall, good story.

ReplyDeleteRelationships Come and Go...
There once was an atom named Jessie. She was dating the atom Adam. They came together to form a molecule in a eukaryotic animal cell. Adam was very pushy and short tempered. One day Jessie made him very, very mad. Adam pulled her through the simple diffusion dorr into the kitchen cell. He demanded she cook him some food in the nucleus oven. This made Jessie very mad. She threw the mitochondria spatula at him and he fell into the cytoskeleton floor. Jessie and Adam got all hot and bothered and started bouncing against the walls. Eventually their bond broke because they just weren't compatable anymore. Jessie threw him into the gogli apparatus where ge was exported out of the kitchen cell. Jessie soon found a new atom named Henry. He was a charming atom. They connected instantly and are happy to do everything together now. This includes going to the vacuole together and disposing their waste that they happily shared. One day, Jessie and Henry went on a double date with Jeanie and Greg. Jeanie and Greg were a good couple, but they were different then Jessie and Henry in many ways. They prefered to use active transport instead of simple diffusion as a way to travel. Also, Jeanie and Greg like to have chloroplast in their home, but Jessie and Henry do not. Jeanie and Greg live a healty lifestyle, while Jessie and Henry continue to eat a lot, and gain weight. So they are much bigger then Greg and Jeanie. Both couples lived happily ever after, until the next big fight..
The life of a White Blood Cell
ReplyDeleteA white blood cell is a eukaryotic animal cell used in an animal's immune system to fight off and prevent viral and bacterial diseases.
It all started on a Friday morning when the momma cell split, creating a baby white blood cell. When it got older it became a police officer, arresting all infections in the animal that it thrived in. It radios in from the membrane that there is a new virus trying to invade the cells. Immediately the white blood cell began patrolling the blood stream to locate the intruder. Shortly after the signal is heard, the nucleus tells the white blood cell to use endocytosis to arrest the viral strands.
The cell membrane absorbs the virus in the process of endocytosis. The virus is to be booked, processed, and executed on the spot for charges of assault and battery. The virus is then transported on the cytoskeleton to the lysosome where it is destroyed using the digestive enzymes. After eliminating the virus, it is sent to the vacuole graveyard where it is stored for decomposition. After the long strenuous day at work, the policeman goes to the mitochondria coffee shop to refuel its energy. Then, the nucleus receives new Intel.
This white blood cell is kept alive through processes such as cell respiration which uses atoms such as oxygen and hydrogen, and molecules such as carbon dioxide and water to be able to carry out the daily processes in the life of a police white blood cell. Also, osmosis is used to diffuse water into the cell to be used by it for survival.
Organelles such as the ribosomes and rough endoplasmic reticulum which make proteins instructed by the nucleus help keep the white blood cells alive. Without these organelles, and many others, the cell is not able to perform its necessary jobs thus it would die.

ReplyDeleteOur errors-
"mRNA is then translated into amino acids by tRNA and this process is transcription" -this process is really translation.
"the DNA is split by an enzyme, the mRNA then comes in and attaches to the gene and translate the DNA strand" it really transcribes the DNA strand.
