Protein Synthesis Story Revisions and Comments

Please read my comments and make revisions or additions to your story.

Then read the stories of two other groups. As a group tell them something you like about their story and one or two suggestions for improvement based on the criteria given in the assignment.

Interpersonal Hi, I am an mRNA molecule. I replicate a section of DNA called a gene. This gene codes for a protein. My job is important because DNA is to big to leave the nucleus. So I copy the DNA's code for a protein and carry it to the ribosome. Three of my copied nucleotides from the DNA is called a codon. Each of my codons hold a code for a specific amino acid. Eventually, these amino acids will come together and form a protein. I travel to a tRNA molecule at the ribosome. This process is called transcription. The tRNA uses me as a template for assembling amino acids into proteins. This happens because my codons are translated by tRNA's anti codons. The anticodons attach to an amino acid. The amino acids from different tRNA molecules will come together to form a polypeptide chain, from the code I originally pulled from from DNA. Then, my job is done. But the process of making a protein is not finished. The tRNA then carries the polypeptide chain to a ribosome. The anticodons of the tRNA hold a start code and ends with a stop group of proteins which form in the ribosome. The polypeptide chain when entered into the ribosome assemble into a protein, this process is called translation. This entire process is called protein synthesis. It is important to life because it allows proteins to be made which does many things for our body like: help build muscle and it functions as an enzyme to aid in chemical reactions within the human body.
